Approach

First and foremost, my responsibility is to create an environment where you feel acknowledged, safe and embraced. In our sessions, I spend time engaging in stimulating conversation that helps me to learn YOU. It's imperative for me to learn who you are, how you show up in the world, and what path(s) to take in helping you achieve your goals and desirable outcomes. As your therapist, you can expect for me to be actively present with you, while encouraging and supporting you along the journey of creating the life you desire.

My clinical focuses are on increasing one’s sense of self-awareness, nurturing the ability to process emotional/psychological experiences, and curating choices that help you take full agency of you. Throughout my 10 years of clinical experience, I have supported people who have experienced many forms of complex trauma, mood/personality disorders, relationship conflicts, and many experiences pertaining to gender and sexuality.

I earned a master’s degree in Family Therapy from Mercer University, and have been trained in several different therapy modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Polyvagal theory, and a host of others. I believe that it is important for every session to be tailored to you, and I work diligently to make sure you have access to tools, guides, and resources that you need and deserve.
